My Wacken 2009 tickets finally arrived yesterday morning after ordering them a couple months back. They look awesome! Got to hand it to the Germans man, they can definately organise a festival. Can’t wait. Went last year for the first time and it was one of the best festivals I’ve ever been to. 4 days of heavy metal! Hopefully this year will live up to last’s standards.

Plus, Cathedral are playing. Not been in to them for very long, but looking forward to headbanging away to some of their groovy doom riffs! Bring it on!

Spice up your inbox with colors and themes

Read about this yesterday on the Gmail blog, but couldn’t check it out until this morning when I got in work. Pretty cool stuff man. Probably end up sticking with the default theme in the end though…

Also, another cool feature, according to Gmail’s help centre:

In some cases, you can also customize by location. Some themes change during the day, and we use the location information you provide to correctly time these changes with your local sunrise, sunset, and/or weather.

As well as the new themes, looks like they’ve made a few subtle changes to Gmail interface in general – few colour changes and what-not. Looks a lot cleaner.

Thought it was about time I finally did something with this site instead of waiting for myself to get my arse in gear and finish designing something. Hell, everybody else seems to be blogging like crazy these days, so I might as well jump on the old bandwagon.

Just need to get a theme for this bad-boy sorted now.
